Ya Vedud — The Most Loving.
One of the ninety-nine names of Allah, Al-Wadud speaks of a love that
is boundless, unconditional, and eternally present. In the Islamic
tradition, to write a divine name is not merely to inscribe letters.
It is an act of remembrance. A breath of devotion made visible.
This original calligraphy artwork brings that intention into a form
you can live with — hung on a wall, placed on a shelf, gifted to
someone whose home deserves something of genuine meaning.
The calligraphy is rendered in classical Ottoman hat style and
surrounded by hand-painted tezhip illumination finished with real
24K gold leaf. The gold does not merely decorate. It honors. In the
Ottoman manuscript tradition, gold was reserved for words worthy of
it — and the names of Allah were always worthy.
This is a one-of-a-kind original. It will not be reproduced.
Signed by the artist, ready to display.
