Original Islamic Calligraphy Art – Sabr, Patience, Round Talik Hat Composition, Framed Ottoman Wall Art

"Sabrun." "Patience." One word. And few words in the Quran are returned to as often. Patience — sabr — appears again and again throughout the Quran, and always with a promise attached to it. "Indeed, God is with those who are patient." When the Prophet Yaqub lost his beloved son Yusuf, his response was not complaint but two words that have comforted believers for fourteen centuries: "fa-sabrun jamîl" — so patience is most fitting, a beautiful patience. This original calligraphy work renders that word in a circular composition: the letters turn around a single center, repeating and returning, like a prayer said again and again until it settles in the heart. There is no beginning and no end to the circle — only the steady rhythm of the word itself. Written in black ink in the flowing ta'lik style of the Ottoman tradition, the piece carries the calligrapher's signature and seal beneath the composition. It is presented in a custom frame — layered gold and dark moulding, with a black mat and a round window outlined in a fine white border — under glass and ready to hang. One of a kind. Not a print. Not a reproduction. The original work, exactly as it left the calligrapher's hands. 🖋 Artwork Details: — Original calligraphy work — one of a kind, not reproducible — Text: "Sabrun" — "Patience" — in a circular, repeating composition — Calligrapher: Hattat Melek Ucar — Ottoman ta'lik script in black ink — Signed and sealed by the calligrapher — Frame: custom gold and dark wood frame with black mat and round window, included — Overall dimensions: 13.5 x 13.5 inches (framed) — Materials: paper, ink, glass, frame 🖼 Display: — Comes framed under glass — ready to hang — A quiet, meditative centerpiece for a study, office, entryway, or prayer space 📦 Shipping & Packaging: — Ready to ship — ships from Philadelphia, PA within 1–2 business days — Carefully packaged with protective materials — Tracking number provided for every order — Currently ships within the United States.
