Some tesbih speak softly — and reveal their craft up close.
Carving amber this slender is delicate work. Amber is soft and easily chipped, and shaping it into thin, even cylinders by hand takes patience and a steady touch; one wrong cut and a bead is lost. In the Ottoman tradition, strands like this were valued not for their size, but for the fine hand-work behind every bead.
Thirty-three slim cylindrical beads, each finely hand-carved from amber in soft cream and honey-yellow tones, with natural marbling that makes every bead its own. The imame and tassel are carved from the same amber, so the whole piece feels like one. At just 17 grams, it is the lightest tesbih in my collection — easy to carry every day and gentle in the hand during long dhikr.
