In the Ottoman tradition, deep red amber has always been among the most treasured colors — warm, glowing, and quietly striking in the hand. This strand carries that tradition in a bold, generous form.
Thirty-three large, round amber beads in a deep, rich red, each with its own natural translucency and variation. At 78 grams, it is the heaviest tesbih in my collection, with a substantial weight that settles into the palm and makes every bead feel deliberate. The alif-shaped imame is made from the same amber and sits naturally in the hand, so it is easy to find your place at the end of each round.
I string each tesbih by hand, with close attention to how the beads move and how the imame sits in the hand. It makes a meaningful gift, or a companion for daily dhikr for years to come.
